Do I need a partner?

No. You do not need a partner to attend classes. If there are not an equal number of partners we will rotate frequently so everyone has plenty of time to dance in the class.

 

What do I wear?

For classes, it is best to wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. Dress in layers as it can get quite warm in the studio. It is recommended to salsa/ballroom shoes, jazz shoes, or sneakers without grip. No outdoor shoes in the studio, please bring a clean pair to change into.

 

What do I bring to class?

A water bottle, indoor shoes, a positive attitude! It is very important to hydrate yourself before, during and after the class.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you have purchased a session of classes and miss a class due to illness or another important conflict then you will be able to make up the class by taking any of our other classes within the duration of the session.  Classes cannot be made up by attending a class in a new session, unless otherwise stated by an instructor. If you miss a class and do not take a makeup class within the allotted time your classes will not be refunded. For private lessons, classes need to be used within six months of purchase. This arrangement has been made to be fair to the instructor and to maintain a flow in each class.

 

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations require minimum 24 hours notice to receive a refund of 95% of the total fee (5% admin fee is kept). Cancellations outside of these terms are eligible for a 50% refund, with the exceptions of a valid medical reason/emergency. If the session was purchased at a discount greater than 10%, the session is not eligible for a refund unless otherwise stated by an instructor.

 

What if the class is too hard/too easy for me?

If you find that you are in the wrong level for any reason, you can transfer your registration to another class by talking to one of the instructors.
